IngerMarieYtterhorn born 18 September 1941 is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party Norway Progress Party . She was elected to the Stortinget Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland in 1989, but was not re elected in 1993. She later served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1993&ndash 1997 and 1997&ndash 2001. Her late husband Bj rn Erling Ytterhorn was also a member of the Norwegian Parliament. She is a member of The Norwegian Nobel Committee, the body that awards The Nobel Peace Prize. Biography She was born in Stavanger on the West coast of Norway . In 1943 she was accepted as a student at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in Oslo to study ceramics for three years. After graduation in 1946, she moved back to Stavanger and started her own ceramic workshop.
