The Institute of MathematicalStatistics is an international professional and learned society scholarly society devoted to the development, dissemination, and application of statistics and probability . The President of the Institute of MathematicalStatistics is the highest officer of the Institute of MathematicalStatistics IMS , and, together with the President Elect and Past President , sets the directions for IMS during his or her term of office.
