The International Terrestrial Reference System ITRS describes procedures for creating Terrestrial reference frame reference frame s suitable for use with measurements on or near the Earth s surface. This is done in much the same way that a physical standard might be described as a set of procedures for creating a realization of that standard. The ITRS defines a geocentric system of coordinates using the SI system of measurement. An International Terrestrial Reference Frame ITRF is a realization of the ITRS. New ITRF solutions are produced every few years, using the latest mathematical and surveying techniques to attempt to realize the ITRS as precisely as possible. Due to experimental error , any given ITRF will differ very slightly from any other realization of the ITRF. Also, the difference between the latest World Geodetic System WGS84 and the latest ITRF is only a few centimeters. ref http www.gmat.unsw.edu.au snap gps clynch pdfs coorddef.pdf ref Practical navigation systems are in general referenced to a specific ITRF solution, or to their own coordinate systems which are then referenced to an ITRF solution. The agent systemsreference model ASRM is a layered, abstract description for multiagent systems . As such, the reference model provides a taxonomy of terms, concepts and definitions to compare agent systems identifies functional elements that are common in agent systems captures data flow and dependencies among the functional elements in agent systems and specifies assumptions and requirements regarding the dependencies among these elements. The ASRM differentiates itself from technical standard s, such as Knowledge Interchange Format , Knowledge Query and Manipulation Language , and those of the FIPA Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents in that it defines the required existence of components of a multiagent system standards prescribe how they are designed . The International Celestial Reference Frame ICRF is a quasi inertial reference frame centered at the Barycentric coordinates astronomy barycenter of the Solar system Solar System , defined by the measured positions of 212 extragalactic sources mainly quasars . Although special relativity relativity implies that there is no true inertial frame, the extragalactic sources used to define the ICRF are so far away that any angular motion is essentially zero. The ICRF is now the standard reference frame used to define the positions of the planets including the Earth and other astronomical objects. Note that, in astrometry , a reference frame is the physical realization of a reference system, i.e., the reference frame is the reported coordinates of datum points. The ICRF is the realization of the International Celestial Reference System , and agrees with the orientation of the Fifth Fundamental Catalog FK5 J2000.0 frame to within the lower precision of the latter.
