    Scandinavia is a locality in the northern portion of the Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam and south of Riding Mountain National Park . The Post Office was located on 7 18 17W and opened in 1886 with Jems Hemmingsen as postmaster. It closed in 1968. A School District of the same name was located on 6 18 17W.     Technical rescue refers to those aspects of saving life or property that employ the use of tools and skills that exceed those normally reserved for fire fighting , medical emergency , and rescue . These disciplines include rope rescue , swiftwater rescue , confined space rescue , ski patrol ski rescue , cave rescue , trench rescue trench excavation rescue , and building collapse rescue, among others.     The Experimental Music Catalogue commonly known as the EMC was founded in 1968 by Christopher Hobbs in order to provide an outlet for new music by composers of the English experimental movement, Publications appeared mainly as generic anthologies, such as the Verbal Anthology , String Anthology , Rhythmic Anthology and the Scratch Anthology of Compositions . These anthologies featured music by British composers such as Cornelius Cardew , Hugh Shrapnel , Howard Skempton , Gavin Bryars , John White composer John White , and other experimental composers, including those in the Scratch Orchestra , but also others, including Robert Ashley and Terry Jennings . As the Catalogue grew in the 1970s, Hobbs released control to a committee including Gavin Bryars and Michael Nyman . However, due to the change in music and publishing needs after experimental music turned to minimalist music minimalism and other post modern styles, the EMC was wound down in the early 1980s.     Citations date November 2010 James Frederick Jimmy Hanley Rensselaer, Indiana February 17, 1892 &ndash Douglaston, New York Douglaston, Long Island February 8, 1942 was an United States American songwriter and author . He attended Champion College and the Chicago Musical College . Hanley served with the United States of America U.S. 82nd Division in World War I . During his military service he wrote an army musical show called Toot Sweet . On discharge Hanley became a vaudeville accompanist. He went on to write songs for film and theater including many Broadway theatre Broadway productions. He worked with numerous artists, most notably Buddy DeSylva B.G. DeSylva , Edward Madden , Eddie Dowling , Percy Wenrich , Theodore F. Morse Theodore Morse and Ballard MacDonald . Hanley is best remembered for the hit songs Indiana 1917 , Second Hand Rose 1921 and Zing Went the Strings of My Heart 1934 . For the latter song, Hanley contributed both music and lyrics but for most of his songs he wrote the music alone. Hanley was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970.
