    James Martin Hilary Graham Brown born 11 July 1951 is an England English cricket er. He was a right handed batsman and a right arm medium pace bowler who played for Kent County Cricket Club Kent , Derbyshire County Cricket Club Derbyshire , Cornwall County Cricket Club Cornwall and Dorset County Cricket Club Dorset between 1974 and 1991. Graham Brown was born at Thetford , Norfolk , the son of Lewis Graham Brown and his wife Elizabeth Blaxland. He started playing for Kent Second XI in 1972, and made his County Championship debut for the club in 1974. Bowling at a steady pace, he played in 7 matches that season. He played once throughout 1975, scoring a duck against Oxford University Cricket Club Oxford University . After five games in the 1976 season, in which Kent finished in fourteenth place, Graham Brown moved to Derbyshire in time for the start of the 1977 season. Graham Brown s two years with the Peakites were to prove erratic, but after a healthy stint in the first team he was to give up the first class game in 1978. Graham Brown took to Minor Counties Cricket in 1981, playing for Cornwall County Cricket Club Cornwall until 1984, and for Dorset County Cricket Club Dorset between 1989 and 1991. Graham Brown s great uncle, Lionel Blaxland , played first class cricket for Derbyshire County Cricket Club Derbyshire , primarily between 1932 and 1935. He recently retired as headmaster of the independent girls school, the Royal High School, Bath on Lansdown in Bath, and now writes plays under the nom de plume of Dougie Blaxland. Born in Castleblayney , County Monaghan , Irish Americans Ireland , he immigrated to the United States and settled in Sangamon County, Illinois in 1868. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and attended Valparaiso University he was a teacher, lawyer in private practice, and in 1885 1886 a member of the Illinois House of Representatives . He was prosecuting attorney for Sangamon County from 1892 to 1896 and a member of the board of education of Springfield, Illinois Springfield from 1891 to 1894. Graham was elected as a USDemocrat Democrat to the Sixty first and to the two succeeding Congresses March 4, 1909 March 3, 1915 he was chairman of the Committee on Expenditures in the Department of the Interior Sixty second and Sixty third Congresses . He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the Sixty fourth Congress in 1914. From 1916 to 1928, he was a member of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and a member of the board of directors of Lincoln Library from 1936 to 1945. He was in private practice in New York City from 1855 to 1857, and then in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until 1888. He was a City attorney of Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1863 to 1867. He was in private practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1905 to 1908. He was a Dean, Marquette University Law School from 1908 to 1913. Jenkins was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin . Jenkins was nominated by President Grover Cleveland on June 19, 1888, to a seat vacated by Charles E. Dyer . He was confirmed by the United States Senate on July 2, 1888, and received his commission the same day. Jenkins served in that capacity until March 23, 1893, due to appointment to another judicial position. Jenkins was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit .
