Murad Kalam born Godffrey Williams lang ar is an American writer. Kalam was born to a Jamaican father and a white mother. His family moved around the country frequently before settling in the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona , where he grew up. In 1999, Kalam graduated from Harvard College , where he studied writing under Jamaica Kincaid and published in the Harvard Advocate . He graduated from Harvard Law School in 2002. While in his second year of law school, Kalam published his first short story, Bow Down, in Harper s , which won an O. Henry Award . Shortly thereafter he published his first novel, Night Journey . In 2002, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to write his second novel, A Reasonable Man , in Egypt . He currently lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Rashann Duvall, whom he met in law school. It is an interesting story featuring Ganesh and Vasanth. The story has many falling of deaths like leaves falling from tree and contrastingly named, which attracts the interest of readers. Plot Ganesh and Vasanth visit a town for legal purpose involving settling down property inheritance issue. They meet a man KumaraVyasan , guardian of an innocent, amateur girl heir named Leena. According to the will the property cannot be divided, sold and it can be inherited only by the direct heirs at their eighteen years of age while close relatives are supposed to be guardians. While discussing, Ganesh and Vasanth are told that the legal heir girl has committed a murder by becoming a blood sucking vampire and he has concealed the victim s body by burying it two years ago. They were also told that there is a belief at the town that, a spirit which occurs once in two years will kill people. Ganesh not willing to accept that fact, searches for an valid explanation. He along with Vasanth visits the farm at night where they see an illusion in grey color resembling the girl Leena and some voices pointing to some names. Also many mysterious things happen at the farm house which terrorise both of them. Political career Shamsuddin first came to politics after the Jallianwalla Bagh Massacre in Punjab British India Punjab . He was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and joined the Indian National Congress . In 1927 he joined the All India Muslim League Muslim League . He also took part in the Pakistan Movement after becoming the president of East Pakistan Renaissance Society . He was born in 1926 in Kamdevpur village under Nolsiti Thana in Barisal district. His father s name was Akram Ali Munsi, mother s name was Meherunnessa. He had four sisters Jahanara Begum, Raushonara Begum, Momtaj Begum, Saida Akhtar and he was the only son of his parents.
