Julius Cavero , T KID or Terrible T KID 170 is a well known graffiti artist from the Bronx , New York. Biography Background and early life T Kid s father was an immigrant from Peru , who worked at a GM factory in New Jersey. His mother emigrated from Puerto Rico in the mid 1950s. Graffiti He started in the 1970s, tagging the name King 13 every time he d win a challenge, performing daredevil tricks on swings in local parks. He was a short lived member of a gang called the Bronx Enchanters and The Renegades of Harlem, where he learned how to paint trains. He later became the president of TNB The Nasty Boy z and ex president of TVS The Vamp Squad , one of the most notorious New York graffiti crews. T KID is still active and his work can be seen in the Bronx as well as around the world. He is also a member of MAC crew from Paris. T Kid was originally asked to be the narrator for the Hip Hop documentary Style Wars but he declined. File Dixie Kid 1920s.jpg thumb Brown circa 1920 Aaron Lister Brown aka Dixie Kid 23 December 1883 at Fulton, Missouri 6 April 1934 at Los Angeles, California was an American boxing boxer . He was a controversial contender for the World Welterrweight Champion World Welterweight Boxing Championship in 1904. Professional career On 29 April 1904, Kid challenged Barbados Joe Walcott for the latter s World Welterweight Champion ship title. Although he was well on top, Walcott was disqualified by the referee after 20 rounds for an alleged foul. Kid claimed the title but it was subsequently discovered that the referee had bet on him to win and so his claim was disregarded. In his career as a welterweight and a middleweight, he fought such notable fighters as Jimmy Clabby , Mike Twin Sullivan , Willie Lewis , Sam Langford and Georges Carpentier . Death Kid fought over 150 bouts and retired in 1920. He died on 6 April 1934 in Los Angeles after falling out of a tenement story window. It is not known whether it was by accident or a suicide. Honours Kid was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame 2002 .
