Hu scar himself split his army along the border in three divisions, one main division commanded by Uampa Yupanqui with troops from Kuntisuyu and from the south, planning to cross the Cotabambas Province Cotabambas river. Another army was led by Guanca Auqui, Agua Panti, Paca Yupanqui and a third led by Hu scar himself taking command personally for the first time and his brothers Tito Atauchi and Topa Atao . br The armies met at the plains close to Huanuco, when Hu scar ordered Uampa Yupanqui to take battle with the followers. Initially the battle was reportedly succeful for the Hu scaran troops, with Atahualpa s captain Tomay Rima killed in battle, upon when Hu scar launched a massive assault with all his soldiers. The battle allegedly lasted for an entire day and ended inconclusive, as Chalcuchima and Quizquiz pulled back upon night towards a hill nearby. It exists in several modern varieties, which represent the Inca Empire Tawantin Suyu and each of its former four regions suyus . The Cusco Wiphala consists of seven horizontal stripes representing the colour s of the rainbow . The suyu wiphalas are composed of a 7 by 7 square patchwork in seven colours, arranged diagonally. The precise configuration depends on the particular suyu represented by the emblem. The colour of the longest diagonal line seven squares determines which of the four suyus regions the flag represents white for Qullasuyu , yellow for Kuntisuyu , red for Chinchaysuyu , and green for Antisuyu .
