Wighold was one of the most noted Likedeeler, along with G deke Michels and St rtebeker. The nickname Wigbold comes from wig strife and bold courageous, bold . His real name is unknown. Life The early life of Wigbold is poorly documented. He is said to have entered a monastery, where he learned various skills. However, he was expelled under unclear circumstances. He then supposedly attended university at University of Oxford Oxford . He was often described as the brains behind the pirate band. Unlike Michels or St rtebeker, Wigbold did not seek battles but preferred to negotiate a surrender and reduce casualties. Unreferenced date February 2007 Magister Musicae is an internet portal which hosts a digital catalogue of more than 3,000 hours of music classes, given by more than 200 of the world s most renowned musicians. Project The project is promoted by the president of the Alb niz Foundation , Paloma O Shea . The aim is to preserve the classes that take place each day at the Queen Sof a College of Music and make them accessible to a wider audience. In the year 2000, the Spanish Ministry for Science and Technology supported the project with a considerable donation under the aegis of the PROFIT programme. The resulting three years of research and development, which focused on the digitization, cataloguing, compression and high quality broadcasting of the videos on the internet, gave rise to HTCMedia, a tool which manages large quantities of video information. This has been the cornerstone of the creation of Magister Musicae. The master classes are recorded in the music schools. These lessons are scrupulously analyzed by music specialists, catalogued by work and by movement, then broken down into teaching units of no more than six minutes duration. This system of classification allows the visitor to the site to go directly to the section of the class that is of interest, and to be able to link with a number of classes given by various teachers. Participating Organizations The scale and ambition of the project led, in 2004, to six of the principal conservatoires and music schools joining Magister Musicae, through the European Harmos project. Background The Magister Trilogy takes place in a world of magic that comes at a supreme cost in order to cast a spell, a witch must give up some of his or her own life essence, causing them to die faster than usual, slowly wasting away. In this world, there are some, known as Magisters, who are capable of consuming the power of others instead of their own meaning that they must consume the life of another human for their own gain.
