Mutationalmeltdown refers to the process by which a Small population size small population accumulates harmful mutation s, which leads to loss of fitness biology fitness and decline of the population size, which may lead to further accumulation of deleterious mutations due to inbreeding depression . A population experiencing mutationalmeltdown is trapped in a downward spiral and will go extinct if the phenomenon lasts for some time. Usually, the deleterious mutations would simply be selection selected away, but during mutationalmeltdown, the number of individuals thus suffering an early death is too large relative to overall population size so that mortality exceeds the birth rate . The accumulation of mutations in small populations can be divided into three phases. In the second phase a population starts in mutation selection equilibrium, mutations are fixed at a constant rate through time, and the population size is constant because the fecundity exceeds mortality. However, after a sufficient number of mutations have been fixed in the population, the birth rate is slightly less than the death rate, and the population size begins to decrease. There are two English language versions, a 64k version with a little basic speech synthesis and a 128k version featuring much more speech synthesis. A version was also released in French language French called Le Syndrome . Gameplay The player has to navigate three mazes from the 1st floor down to the 3rd floor of a nuclear reactor to prevent a nuclear meltdown . There are eight computer terminal s on each floor, the first allowing access to previous floors. Six of the terminals provide access to a different recursion game within a game which the player must win in order to get a password . Wikify date September 2011 Meltdown Days of Destruction is a 2006 in film 2006 TV film. It primarily concerns social breakdown, combat, and personal relationships during a heat wave of 110 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Plot An asteroid much larger than that which caused the Chicxulub Crater is attacked by a ten megaton nuclear warhead minutes before its collision with Earth, breaking it into three pieces, the largest of which bounces off the Earth s atmosphere. This substantially changes the Earth s orbit , due to the amount of energy released by the asteroid piece the size of Iceland bouncing off the atmosphere resulting in a predicted increase in temperature to 151 Fahrenheit within five days. Authorities decide to inform the public of the problem after two days, touching off a wave of looting and attacks by gangs of police officers and criminals. One family gets together, hotwires a refrigerated truck, and heads for an airport where they plan to meet with a plane taking them to a remote Arctic outpost. Several gun battles ensue, until the disaster ends in a sudden rain as the Earth finds its natural balance with the gravity of the other planets as they manage to pull it back to its correct orbit.
