William A. Gamson William Gamson , former president of the American Sociological Association and professor of sociology at Boston College, and graduate student colleagues at Boston College founded MRAP in 1986. MRAP develops networks of community non profit , labor, and advocacy organizations with whom MRAP conducts collaborative action research on media related topics. Axel Vilfred Nielsen 13 December 1902 24 February 1970 was a Denmark Danish astronomy astronomer at the Ole R mer Observatory in Aarhus from 1927 until his death in 1970. In 1921, while still a student, Nielsen established his private observatory Spica in Glostrup. The observatory was located on the premises of a local enterprise, where Nielsen s father was employed as a manager. Axel V. Nielsen graduated in 1926 from the University of Copenhagen. In 1927 Nielsen was employed as an assistant with the Ole R mer Observatory in Aarhus, later as head of section. Nielsen theory is a branch of mathematical research with its origins in topological fixed point theory . Its central ideas were developed by Danish mathematician Jakob Nielsen mathematician Jakob Nielsen , and bear his name. The theory developed in the study of the so called minimal number of a map mathematics map f from a compact topology compact space to itself, denoted MF f .
