Manco initially worked as a puppet ruler from the Cuzco branch of the Inca royal family of Huayna Capac , having challenged Atahualpa and the northern tribes from Quito in the Inca Civil War . He later turned against his Spanish lords and made rebellion, was captured in a failed escape attempt but later released. Once free, Manco started ingenious to free his land from the Spaniards. Attempting to regain the Inca capital of Cuzco in a ten month siege of Cuzco siege in 1536, he failed, however, and had though victory over conquistador Francisco Pizarro s brother Hernando at Ollantaytambo in January 1537, had to withdraw. Cura Ocllo likely followed her husband through these events and bore his son Sayri Tupac in 1535, during Manco s time in captivity. Rotterdam Noord is not an administrative unit within the municipality . It is bordered by the Rotte in the east, the Rotterdam Centraal railway station Central Station and the railway in the south and the municipality in the north and west. Within these limits live about 134,509 inhabitants. Origin The oldest part of Rotterdam Noord which is designed as a residential area of Rotterdam, is Oude Noorden . It was built around 1870. The area Oude Noorden, belonged in the 19th century to the manor Blommersdijk. It is a typical residential area which was destined for the crowded inner city to relieve. The district has much pre World War I and World War II architecture still in existence. The Blijdorpse polder was until 1150 a boggy area and was largely uninhabited and some are outside the so regular flooding events. By digging the Rotterdamse Schie in 1344, there emerged two polders The Blijdorpse polder and the Bergpolder . The Rotterdamse Schie was where the present Stadhoudersweg and Schiekade run.
