Enuani is an Igbo language Igbo dialect spoken in Nigeria by the Anioma people of Delta State , Onitsha, Obosi and Ogbaru in Anambra State and Ndoni in Rivers State. This dialect is one of the hundreds of Igboid languages inherited from the Igbo people largely concentrated in the southeastern part of the country. The people who speak Enuani dialect are mostly located in the Delta North, Delta State. Enuani also typifies tonality in sound but like the rest of Igbo dialects in Anioma, peculiarly differs from the standard Igbo pronunciation. This language is sometimes referred to as Delta Ibo Areas of concentration Enuani is one of the four major Igbo dialects spoken by the Anioma people predominantly based in Aniocha, Ndokwa, Ika and Oshimili Areas in Delta north with the rest of this dialects being Ukwuani , Ika language Ika Agbor and Aboh. However, Enuani is spoken closer to Igbo language. The area of concentration of these people mostly comprises Ibusa, Asaba, Ogwashi Uku, Illah, Issele Uku, Issele Azagba, Okpanam, Ubulu uno, Ubulu Uku, Ubulu okiti, Ashaba Ubulu uno, Oko commnunities, Ejeme Aniogo, Onitsha Ugbo, ugbolu, Idumuje Uno, Idumuje Ugboko, Onicha Uku, Onicha Olona and the rest of them. This dialect as spoken in all of these areas are homogenous in accent and mutually intelligible. It is also remarkable that this dialect has natural standardised orthography and has gained wider acceptance linguistically.
