  1. Paleolithic lifestyle

A paleolithic lifestyle also known as paleo or primal lifestyle refers to living as humans did in the paleolithic era Old Stone Age , or attempting to recreate such a lifestyle in the present day. The rationale for such an approach is that human evolution humans have evolved for millions of years in a paleolithic environment. Therefore, their body and mind can be expected to be perfectly adapted to the concomitant hunter gatherer lifestyle. Agriculture , on the other hand, only appeared about 10 000 years ago at the beginning of the neolithic era , and industrial society only about 200 years ago. Proponents of a paleolithic lifestyle assert that insufficient time has passed for humans to adapt to the changes brought by farming and industrialization, leading to a misfit between modern lifestyle and the human genome. While small number of cultures in the world continue to live a paleolithic hunter gatherer lifestyle, a subculture of people has emerged in modern societies who try to recreate elements of a paleolithic lifestyle. ref P. Located on an old western terrace of the Sef d R d River, the site was discovered by a team of archaeologists from the Center for Paleolithic Research of the National Museum of Iran in 2002. The Lower Paleolithic cave site of Darband Cave is located at east of Ganj Par. About 150 stone artifacts  handaxe s, cleaver s, a pick, choppers, and smaller flake tools  made of limestone , igneous rock s, and sandstone have been found at the site. 1. Eshkaft-e gavi Cave

Eshkaft e Gavi is a cave located in the southern Zagros Mountains of Iran and is one of the few archaeological site s in the region to preserve both Middle Paleolithic and Upper Paleolithic occupations. Excavation of the site by Micheal Rosenberg in the 1970s yielded an assemblage of lithic and faunal remains, including a number of human bones and teeth ref Rosenberg . Although many of these remains could be Epi Paleolithic in age, one of the juvenile specimens the mandibular molar occurs at the base of the cave s Upper Paleolithic sequence ref Scott and Marean .Four of the specimens display clear evidence for intentional butchery in the form of stone tool cutmarks. These cutmarked specimens, along with a fragment of parietal bone , are also burned. Although this evidence is consistent with cannibalism , the small sample makes it difficult to say whether or not the individuals represented by the hominin remains were butchered and cooked for consumption. Currently the site is located in a industrial zone Petrochemical factory and it s entrance and ceiling is partially collapsed and destroyed . http i55.tinypic.com 10ihugo.jpg References Rosenberg, M.,1985 Report on the Sondage at Eshkaft e Gavi, Iran 23 51 62.
