Uranius Patera is a volcano on Mars located in the Tharsis quadrangle . It is about three kilometers high and has shallow slopes. Unreferenced date July 2009 Dazhbog Patera is a volcanic feature on Jupiter Jupiter s moon Io moon Io . Named after Da bog , it has a diameter of 118.36  km. and is located coord 55.1 N 301.48 W globe io name Dazhbog Patera . This volcano is difficult to differentiate from the other volcanoes and geological features in some images of Io. In images from the Voyager program Voyager spacecraft, this caldera is quite prominent with its dark reddish floor with a darkish halo around the caldera. However, in Galileo spacecraft Galileo images it is hard to tell where the volcano is. One would suspect that this would mean that it was inactive. But in July 1998, the Hubble Space Telescope using its NICMOS instrument detected a hotspot at Dazhbog. They are formed by collapse of material into underground voids. Since they form chains and concentric fractures that are aligned, they are probably caused by extension of the surface. Volcanic processes made the crust pull apart. Voids were formed, then material fell into them, leaving holes. It is one of the oldest volcanoes on Mars. As a consequence of its old age, Tyrrhena Patera has many radiating gullies on its slope. Such topography displays depressions with scalloped edges. Sometimes the depressions seem to coalesced together. These features typically occur at about 55 degrees north and south latitude. They are believed to form from the removal of subsurface material, maybe interstitial ice by sublimination change from solid to a gas . More gentle slopes face in the direction of the equator, while steep scarps face the a pole. This is probably due to differences in solar heating.
