Masked Prowler, The Story of a Raccoon 1950 is a children s novel written by John and Jean George and illustrated by Jean George, more famously known by her later novels as Jean Craighead George . This is the chronicle of Procyon, from his birth, mother s lessons, and adventures with his littermates, to his solitary adolescence, mating, hibernation, and encounters with humans. It was first presented at the 1999 SEMA show. It is essentially a redesigned Plymouth Prowler Prowler which addressed some of the complaints and problems existing Prowler owners had. The lack of cargo space in the Prowler was universally lamented, so the Howler addressed this by elongating and squaring off the back end, creating a moderate sized trunk automobile trunk . The Prowler was only available as a 3.5L V6 engine V6 that was rated at 250 hp at its highest.
