    Richard Butler, 1st Viscount Mountgarret 1500 20 May 1571 was the son of Piers Butler, 8th Earl of Ormond and Margaret Fitzgerald, Countess of Ormond Lady Margaret Fitzgerald . He married his first cousin Eleanor Butler, daughter of Theobald Butler of Polestown , the illegitimate brother of the Piers Butler, 8th Earl of Ormond 8th Earl of Ormond . He was created 1st Viscount Mountgarret in 1550. Career He was described to have been a Knight of goodly personage, and as comely a man as could be seen he was a very honourable and worthy gentleman, and performed many great services to the Crown of England. As recompense, the Lords of the council, in their letter to the Deputy Lieutenant , St. Leger, dated at Windsor 5 August 1550, transmitted the directions of King Edward VI of England to create him Viscount Mountgarret.     Sir Richard Solomon 18 October 1850 10 November 1913 K.C.M.G., C.B., K.C., M.L.C., was a member of Parliament and the Attorney General of the Cape Colony and of the South African Republic Transvaal . Richard Solomon was born was born on Oct. 18, 1850, in Cape Town , and was educated at South African College & Peterhouse Cambridge before being called to the Bar at the Inner Temple in 1879. He was elected to the Cape Parliament in 1893, and was appointed Attorney General of the Cape Colony from 1898 to 1901. He was knighted in 1901. Sir Richard served as legal advisor to Lord Kitchener during the Boer War, and then to the Transvaal Administration from 1901 until 1902, when he served on the Executive and Legislative Councils and was again appointed Attorney General , but this time to the South African Republic Transvaal . He represented South Africa at the Delhi Durbar in 1903 and brought back gold and silver medals for the country. Pacific Ocean Division also supports U.S. Pacific Command and U.S. Army Pacific s Theater Security Cooperation strategies, Humanitarian Assistance Program, and Civil Military Emergency Preparedness with projects throughout the Asia Pacific region.
