Plot summary A Cross Country Trip to Kill Richard Nixon is the story of a young man, Siggy, who blames all of America s problems on former president Richard Nixon . When granted a wish by a fairy godmother, Siggy wants to use it to kill Nixon before he ruined the country , in his view. However, upon meeting Nixon, Siggy realizes that Nixon was not really to blame, and so wishes for everyone to stop hating Nixon.
