Robert Lincoln Drew born February 15, 1924, Toledo, Ohio Toledo , Ohio is an American documentary filmmaker known as a pioneer of cin ma v rit , or direct cinema, in the United States. One of his best known films is Primary film Primary 1960 , a Documentary film documentary about the Wisconsin Primary election between Hubert Humphrey and John F. Kennedy . It is considered to be one of the first direct cinema documentaries.
