Overview In this novel, Kingsley set out to expose the social injustice suffered by workers in the clothing trade and the trials and tribulations of agricultural labourers. It also gives an insight into the Chartist campaign with which Kingsley was involved in the 1840s. Plot Alton Locke is the story of a young tailor boy who has instincts and aspirations beyond the normal expectations of his working class background. He is intensely patriotic and has ambitions to be a poet. In the course of the narrative, Alton Locke loves and struggles in vain. Alton Ford, Jr. born May 29, 1981, in Houston, Texas is an United States American professional basketball player, formerly in the National Basketball Association . He currently plays for the NBA D League team the Erie BayHawks . He was selected 50th overall in the 2001 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns . He played with the Suns from 2001 02 NBA season 2001 to 2002 03 NBA season 2003 , and then with the Houston Rockets in the 2003 04 NBA season . He played overseas from 2004 2008.
