  1. Round number

A round number is mathematically defined as the product of a considerable number of comparatively small factors ref http mathworld.wolfram.com RoundNumber.html MathWorld s definition of a round number ref as compared to its neighbouring numbers, such as 24 2 2 2 3 4 factors, as opposed to 3 factors for 27 2 factors for 21, 22, 25, and 26 and 1 factor for 23 . However, a round number is informally considered to be an integer that ends with one or more 0 number zero es 0 , such as 1,000, 1,500,000, etc., and a number ending in 5 might be considered in a way more round than one ending in neither 0 nor 5. Even a non integer such as 2.5 might be seen as more round than, say, 2.497 especially if written as 2.500 . When a quantity is known only to a low precision, a calculation that gives a non round number is oftentimes rounding rounded in order to avoid giving a false impression of accuracy. When counting or measuring, people usually view a roll over to a round number as a milestone. This fascination led people to celebrate a new millennium at the beginning of the year 2000, even though the official millennium change didn t occur until 2001. A roll over that adds another numerical digit digit is often seen as particularly exciting. Numbers can also be considered round in numeral system numbering systems other than decimal base 10 . For example, the number 1024 would not be considered round in decimal, but the same number ends with a zero in several other numbering systems including binary numeral system binary , octal , and hexadecimal . If the surfaces are at right angles, the chamfer will typically be symmetrical at 45 degrees. A fillet mechanics fillet is the rounding off of an interior corner. A rounding of an exterior corner is called a round ref Madsen et al., Engineering Drawing and Design page 179. Delmar, 2004 ISBN 0 7668 1634 6 ref or a radius . Chamfer is a term commonly used in mechanical engineering mechanical and manufacturing engineering . Special tools such as chamfer mill s and chamfer plane s are available. In tile work, or furniture such as counters or table tops, an edge or arris that has been eased by rounding instead of chamfering is called a bullnose . Where a chamfer does not go to the end of the piece, but lifts out in a smooth curve, the end is called a lark s tongue . An example of chamfering is part of the process of hand crafting a parabolic glass telescope mirror. Before the surface of the disc can be ground, the edges must first be chamfered to prevent chipping. This can be accomplished by placing the disc in a metal bowl containing silicon carbide and rotating the disc with a rocking motion. The grit will thus wear off the sharp edge of the glass. 1. Legal Tender Modernization Act

The Legal Tender Modernization Act USBill 107 HR 2528 was a bill proposed by United States Representative Jim Kolbe of Arizona in 2002. Its main goal was to stop the continual production of Cent United States coin pennies . The bill also mentions other provisions including Allows the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to print postage stamps, currency, and security documents for foreign governments and U.S. states or political subdivisions in order to make foreign currency consistent with U.S. foreign policy . Five different new designs each year for the United States two dollar bill 2 Federal reserve notes .
