    Mari Rhiannon Lovgreen born 1983 is a Wales Welsh television presenter. Born and bred in Caernarfon , Lovgreen began her career in November 2004 as a presenter for S4C s flagship youth magazine programme, Uned 5 , produced by independent production company Antena Television. Currently aired by the Welsh television channel S4C , it is one of the longest running television programmes on any British television channel, the first edition having been broadcast by the BBC from Trinity Chapel, Swansea , in 1961. The programme inspired the creation of the similar English language series Songs of Praise , which began later in the same year. The programme was revamped in September 2006 with a new and diverse team of enthusiastic presenters, including Martyn Geraint . A series now consists of forty programmes lasting half an hour each and three special hour long programmes. The programmes celebrate important festivals and dates in the Christian calendar and place on film the celebration of important national and international occasions where the music is of a devotional and religious nature.     Noson Lawen is a long running Welsh language television series , first broadcast on S4C in Wales in 1982. The term Noson Lawen translates roughly into English language English as A Merry Evening . The programme takes the form of a variety show , with performers including singing duets, sketches, choirs, comedians etc and with a different host every week. Presenters have included Gillian Elisa , and guests include not only Welsh speaking performers like Dafydd Iwan , Robin Huw Bowen and John Ogwen , but international stars such as the quartet Bond band bond . Originally the show had a different host each week, but is now regularly presented by either Mari Lovgreen or Eleri Si n . In the show s early years the audience were seated on straw bales, with the various performances taking place on a farm trailer.
