He graduated in theatre from the republican conservatory of Ankara. He made his film debut in Haldun Dormen s Bozuk D zen . He has gone on to act in over 150 films and series. He started acting professionally on stage and in movies when he was only 19 years old. He is considered the James Dean of Turkey, a rebellios and attractive star of the Turkish movies. In 1969 he stopped acting on stage, not because he wanted too, but because the producers said that with all his work on the stage he would not get a great part in movies. He was then 25 years old. In that same year he starred in a Columbian picture You Can t Win Them All with Tony Curtis, Charles Bronson and Michelle Mercier. After this big production he went to Sweden and England to develop his skills behind the camera instead of before. He moved to the United States and became an US citizen. He now lives in Europe and still appears on TV regularly. Besides acting he has now another big love in his life archeology. He is a stand for that archeology from Turkey stays in Turkey and fought for bringing back the stolen sculpture of Heracles, what appeared in a private collection in the USA. He has two daughters. Osman is well known for having provided free legal representation to hundreds of victims of ethnic violence in Sudan over more than two decades. He is from the Jebel Marra area in central Darfur, western Sudan. He has been widely honored for his work on human rights issues in Sudan, receiving the Human Rights Watch award in 2005, the International Human Rights Award from the American Bar Association in 2006, and was included in European Voices 50 most influential persons in Europe in 2007. Also in 2007 the European Parliament voted unanimously to award him the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. He was detained three times for his courageous advocacy in defense of human rights, but was never charged with any offense. In 2005, he was appointed to the National Assembly of Sudan where he works to promote legal reform and establishment of the rule of law in Sudan. Asad al Daula Salih ibn Mirdas died 1029 was the first Mirdasid amir of Aleppo , from 1024 until his death. He established a dynasty that would more or less continuously rule Aleppo for more than five decades. Life Salih and the Mirdasids originated as members of the Banu Kilab, which had been present in northern Syria for several centuries. Salih is first recorded in 1009 as being the amir of Rahba. Between 1009 and 1012 the Kilab participated in the struggles between Mansur b. Lu lu, a Fatimid loyalist who ruled Aleppo, the Fatimids, and the Kurdish people Kurdish Marwanids for control of the region. When the Kilab demanded from Mansur b. Lu lu several pasture lands, he invited the Arabs to a feast. After the Arabs had become drunk, he had many killed and imprisoned the rest. Salih b. Mirdas was one of the prisoners. In 1014 he escaped and raised an army. He defeated and captured Mansur. Salih managed to extract a promise from Mansur to return his wife, whom Mansur had seized, along with one of his daughters, a large ransom, and to give half of the revenues of Aleppo to the Kilab. After being released, Mansur did not fulfill all of his promises to the Arabs, causing them to lay waste to the lands around Aleppo.
