    Elections to South Cambridgeshire District Council took place on Thursday 5 May 2011, as part of the United Kingdom local elections, 2011 . There were 19 seats up for election, one third of the council. Of the seats contested at this election, the Conservative Party UK Conservatives won thirteen, the Liberal Democrats UK Liberal Democrats won four and Independent politics independents won two. Two seats changed hands at this election, as the Conservatives gained both Duxford and Teversham wards from the Liberal Democrats, increasing their majority on the council.
