TEEN LINE is a non profit teen help hotline based out of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles , California . There is also a branch in Reseda, Los Angeles, California Reseda and, most recently, one in Riverside, California Riverside . The line is open nightly from 6 00 P.M. to 10 00 PST and can be reached in California by calling 310 855 4673 or anywhere in the world at 800 852 8336 . TEEN LINE has been running since 1980, making it one of the oldest help hotlines in the country. The line employs teen volunteers who are currently in or, in the case of the summer training group, about to enter high school, and selects the members of an upcoming training group from a pool of applicants through a written application and an interview. All teens who are accepted into the program undergo a rigorous training process to ensure that they are ready to take calls. TEEN LINE volunteers also answer emails sent in through the online form on the TEEN LINE website, as well as using an online chat. A teen who has gone through the entire training program and is ready to actively take calls is referred to as a Listener to emphasize the importance of listening to a caller s issues rather than giving outright advice. Both teams were recruited by Rick Jones comics Rick Jones from young amateur radio enthusiasts in order to obtain and divulge strategic information about safety hazards, most notably those involving the Hulk comics Incredible Hulk . for the Australian girl group of the same name Teen Queens refimprove date April 2008 The Teen Queens were an United States American band music musical group from the 1950s, most remembered for their hit single Eddie My Love , which reached 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 record chart chart in March 1956. The group consisted of sibling sisters Betty and Rosie Collins, sisters of Aaron Collins, a singer with the doo wop group The Cadets doo wop The Cadets . It was Aaron who wrote their debut song , and the single music single that became their biggest hit. Eddie My Love was released by RPM Records United States RPM Records , and following its success, was followed by a string of other releases. These included Baby Mine , Billy Boy , Red Top , Rock Everybody and I Miss You , but none of these achieved the success of their debut song. Consequently, the group left RPM in 1958 and signed a one gramophone record record recording contract with RCA Records , who released Dear Tommy . This also failed to make much of an impact on the record chart charts . There then followed a later contract with Antler Records and a further two singles, There Is Nothing on Your Mind an answer to There s Something on Your Mind and I Heard Violins . Again, however, these songs enjoyed little success and by 1961, the group decided to call it a day. Eddie My Love was also sound recording and reproduction recorded by The Chordettes and The Fontane Sisters , both of which also made the charts in 1956.
