Between then and 1951 he was involved with the editing of twenty films, including Mildred Pierce film Mildred Pierce , Night and Day film Night and Day , That Hagen Girl , The Fountainhead film The Fountainhead , The Glass Menagerie 1950 film The Glass Menagerie , and A Streetcar Named Desire 1951 film A Streetcar Named Desire . He was nominated for the Academy Award for Film Editing Academy Award for Best Editing for Johnny Belinda .
