TracyReed born 21 September 1942, London is an Englishactress. She was born Clare Tracy Compton Pelissier , the daughter of the director Anthony Pelissier and the actress Penelope Dudley Ward , but took the surname of her stepfather, Sir Carol Reed , following her mother s remarriage in 1948. During a film acting career that lasted from the early 1960s until 1975, she appeared in about thirty films, the TV series Man of the World TV series Man of the World 1962 and was at one point under consideration as a replacement for Diana Rigg in The Avengers TV series The Avengers . Reed is known for her role as Miss Scott, the mistress of General Buck Turgidson George C. Scott in Dr. Strangelove 1964 . TracyReed is an United States American writer who created the first episodic online story, the QuantumLink Serial on AOL then called Quantum Computer Services . The series debuted in 1988, and was played out in online chat rooms, emails and traditional narrative. The series also went by the name The AppleLink Serial and The PC Link Serial on those services before they were all unified under the AOL brand when Quantum changed its name.
