The Tsetse was the common design nuclear fission bomb core for several Cold War designs for American nuclear and thermonuclear bomb thermonuclear weapons , according to researcher Chuck Hansen. Nuclear weapon design Two stage thermonuclear weapons Primary is the technical term for the fission bomb component of a thermonuclear or fusion bomb, which is used to start the reactions going and implode and detonate the second, fusion stage. The Tsetse primary was used in the US B43 nuclear bomb , W44 W44 nuclear warhead , W50 atomic weapon W50 nuclear warhead , B57 nuclear bomb , and W59 W59 nuclear warhead , according to Hansen. Historical evidence indicates that these weapons shared a reliability problem, which Hansen attributes to miscalculation of the reaction cross section of tritium in fusion reactions. The weapons were not tested as extensively as some prior models due to a mid 1960s nuclear test moratorium, and the reliability problem was discovered and fixed after the moratorium ended. This problem was apparently shared by the Python primary designs. Unreferenced auto yes date December 2009 A fly captain is known as the fly man in theaters in the US & Canada. The fly man is in charge of a fly crew which operates a fly system in a theatrical production. Ordinarily a fly man will coordinate with the set designer to get flying scenery safely into the fly loft or fly gallery and to plan and delegate flyrail cues. The fly man can also be a stage left manager in a small theater. The flyman is usually responsible for all matters of safety involving the fly system and also for making sure rail cue theatrical cues are executed quickly and properly. The fly man supervises the loading and unloading of counterweights in a fly system. In some countries, the Netherlands for example, it is not allowed to operate more than 250 kilograms by hand. Therefore, computer controlled fly systems are used, which require two types of certificates, one for computer controlled flying itself, and one for the specific type of machinery used in the venue so for every venue, a different certificate is mandatory .
