The script was revised and updated by Russell in 1985 and the rights are held by Samuel French Ltd. It is not to be confused with the Harold Pinter play of the same name. It was originally entitled The Tupperware Man in reference to a comedic speech from Dennis over dinner at the beginning of Act II and performed under this name until a legal threat from Tupperware . It then became Painted Veg And Parkinson . The cast of four comprises Dennis Cain, his wife Pauline, later joined by Jane and Roger, and the setting is a bungalow in Castlehills, a fictional new middle class housing development in the north of England. The cast await the arrival of Dennis parents, lost in the warren of identical roads and bungalows, whilst discussing the wave of puerile vandalism that has inflicted, it seems mysteriously, all but the Cain s gardens. The Parnes Kids are blamed for gnome decapitations, painted garden vegetables, Radox filled fountains and a Venus de Milo with arms stuck on it but could the culprit be closer to home? The album, released 1 August 2005, collects various songs recorded in an amateur studio at Leeds Metropolitan University , then called Leeds Polytechnic, in Leeds . The album includes three tracks which appeared on their rare independent 1980 release, Mutant Moments . The album has received criticism for not being comprehensive enough, excluding several rare cuts which have appeared on previous bootlegs. David Ball musician David Ball , the keyboardist , comments on the album in the liner notes. The album includes a cover version of the song Paranoid , originally recorded by the pioneering United Kingdom British Heavy metal music heavy metal band Black Sabbath . Precycling is the practice of reducing waste by attempting to avoid bringing items which will generate waste into home or business. The original three pronged push for trash management is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle . Precycling emphasizes reducing and reusing , while harnessing and questioning the momentum and popularity of the term recycle. Traditionally recycling requires large amounts of energy to melt down and then re manufacture items. While this may cut down on the amount of trash that is going into landfill s, it is not sustainable unless the underlying energy supply is sustainable. In addition, recycling often means downcycling and always involves at least some loss of the original material, so primary extraction is still required to make up the difference. Precycling reduces these problems by using less material in the first place, so less has to be recycled. Precycling includes such practices as buying consumables in bulk to reduce packaging, buying consumables in disposable recyclable over non recyclable packaging , avoiding Advertising mail junk mail , and using electronic media for reading materials, especially throwaway items such as magazine s or newspaper s. It can also include the practice of using an item or material for another purpose prior to use for its original purpose, thus avoiding using some other material or object. For example a bowl vessel bowl of fruit and nuts on a holiday table as decoration prior to eating it precludes buying or using something else. One way to participate in precycling is to carry a precycling kit . Include a Tupperware or non disposable container, silver household silverware set, a napkin cloth napkin or handkerchief , and a thermos or water bottle within a cloth bag that can double as a grocery bag grocery shopping bag . Food storage containers are widespread in use throughout the world and have probably been in use since the first human civilisations. Early civilizations In early civilizations cereal grains such as maize , wheat , barley etc. were stored in large airy buildings, often raised up from the ground to reduce infestation by pests and vermin . Egypt ian and early Hebrew writings include reference to such buildings and their successors can still be seen in use in less developed countries and regions. Smaller quantities of food were stored in basket s made from woven grass es or leaves and such designs have remained in use to the current day. Modern containers In the modern developed world, a very wide range of food packaging and containers is now available made from many different materials. Plastic containers Many products use low density polyethylene formed into plastic bags or plastic boxes. There are a large number of manufactures and ranges of plastic boxes some such as Tupperware and Lock&Lock are known throughout much of the developed world. Metal containers Longer term storage or storage of items needing a higher degree of protection from the elements may use sheet metal . A common form of such storage is the biscuit tin . Paperboard containers Perhaps the most ubiquitous domestic item of food storage is the refrigerator fridge or fridge freezer in which a wide variety of foodstuffs are contained and preserved through the use of low temperatures. Industrial food storage containers Wherever food is harvest ed, manufacture d or distributed there is a need for containers to enable the food to travel securely and in good condition to the retailing shop , warehouse or distribution depot.
