Much Ado , Bernard J. Taylor s musical version of Shakespeare s Much Ado About Nothing , was recorded as a concept album in 1995, featuring Paul McGann , Peter Karrie and other West End stars. It received its world premiere at Stratford on Avon in 1996. It was partly inspired by the Kenneth Branagh film version. The most recent production was in Budapest , Hungary , opening in June 2007. Terry Wardrope, critic for the European musicals magazine Words and Music , wrote The usual fine cast once again give full throat to a grand selection of songs. One of the strongest facets of Mr Taylor s musical talents I have found is his ability to write music in the style befitting the age his work is set, as MUCH ADO so admirably demonstrates. Paul McGann s singing voice adds style. and panache to his solo numbers If I Could Write A Sonnet and The Strange Affliction Called Love as well as a pleasing accompaniment to the redoubtable Claire Moore In Disdain and Then Kill For Me. Of course, as always Claire Moore gives a breathtaking performance with among others I ll Never Marry and How Can This Be, but then that lady can do no wrong in my book. It s another impressive piece from Bernard Taylor, reinforcing my impression that he is one of the finest British musical talents we have. Mike Gibb, editor of Masquerade , the British musicals review magazine, wrote It proves to be yet another fine slab of musical writing, full of invention and, as with all BJT offerings, dripping with melody. It also succeeds in capturing the mood of the period courtesy of a medieval English feel amongst the diverse musical influences. Itapa is one of the towns in Ekiti State EKiti land which sprang from odufuwa of life and Owatapa is the head. Itapa is one of the goddess being worshipped at Ile ife. Its festival is held for a period of thirty days and worshipped by Ooni and his people till today. It is worshipped till today. The festival is called Utaale at Itapa. Amowa and Elepe, sons of Oduduwa left Ile ife with their mother, they also came with two friends known as Elemo and Baaro. These people were hunters. At a stage Elepe took his leave and settled at one of Itapa s farms called Osin, Another brother of Amowa settled in Itapa farm called Ijelu and he later became Elejelu. Amowa was the first OLOSIN of Osin. There are other goods called Elutapa and Orisa Itapa which are worshiped by Ooni till today. Owa attends these gods through his elected priests called Ayaya as the priest of Elutapa and Aworo Orisa Ilawe as the priest of Orisa Itapa or Ilawe. Elemo took his quarter and become the head of Remo while Baaro became head of Egetun. All of them were great hunters. Many people came to settle with them and they became prosperous. These heads of quarters regarded Owatapa as their head and the people approached Owatapa through their heads, and Owatapa has the final say over all matters brought before him. The first Owatapa was Amowa The 2nd Owatapa was Muaro, Amowa s son The 3rd Owatapa was Jejeke The 4th Owatapa was Ponrokun, he removed his palace from Iloro Remo to where it is today. Plot Plot date February 2010 After showing the title cards, the camera zooms towards Tom fishing on a pier. Tom baits the line with cheese and casts it all the way out to a far off ship and into Jerry s mouse hole. The cat gets a bite and gets pulled off the pier and onto a pillar, while the sleeping mouse nibbles at the cheese as he is reeled in. Tom catches the mouse in a fish net and plops him onto the pier, waking Jerry up with a start. Once Jerry gets a sense of his surroundings, he realizes that Tom is holding his tail and he is about to be squashed by a hammer The mouse substitutes the cat s hand for himself, and the mouse whistles at the cat from the closest pillar to alert his enemy of his throbbing hand. Tom reacts by yelping and jumping into the stratosphere, kissing his hand all the while. Pleased with himself, Jerry starts to run back to another mouse hole while Tom takes a nosedive after his rival.
