A fight took place between them and the Samma Dynasty Samma , in which the latter were defeated and Jam Tamachi with his whole family was taken prisoner and carried to Delhi, where he had to live for many years in exile. In the absence of their ruler, the people lived quietly round about Tharri under Jam Tamachi s brother Babinah son of Jam Unar, as their headman. After some years, Khairuddin son of Jam Tamachi, who in his infancy had gone with his father to Delhi Sultanate Delhi , was permitted to return to Sindh after his father s death and was to be the chief of his tribe. Accordingly Jam Khairuddin came and took the helm of the government of his father s country. Habitat Jam was a massive online event organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme United Nations Human Settlements Programme UN HABITAT , the Government of Canada and IBM . It was held on December 1 4 2005 to help solve urgent problems of the world s cities. Habitat Jam was conceived to set the stage for the World Urban Forum 3 conference, which was held in Vancouver in June 2006.
