    Charles Wesley junior 11 December 1757 in Bristol 23 May 1834 in London was an England English organ music organ ist and composer . He was the son of Charles Wesley , the great hymn writer and one of the founders of Methodism , and the brother of Samuel Wesley , also an organist and composer. He is usually referred to as Charles Wesley junior to avoid confusion with his more famous father. He never married, living for most of his life with his mother and sister. Although Charles Wesley junior is much less well known than his brother Samuel Wesley, he was like Samuel regarded as a musical prodigy in childhood, and he was playing the organ before the age of three. He became a professional musician in adulthood, and Matthews 1971 quotes the European Magazine of 1784 as reporting that his performance on the organ has given supreme delight . However he did not enjoy public performance, and worked mainly as a private organist, at one time to the George IV of the United Kingdom Prince Regent he was connected with the royal family through much of his life, having first played at the Queen s House at the age of 18.     Charles Wesley Colter February 26, 1846 &ndash July 25, 1929 was a lawyer, publisher and political figure in Ontario , Canada. He represented Haldimand electoral district Haldimand in the Canadian House of Commons from 1886 to 1887 and from 1889 to 1890 as a Liberal Party of Canada Liberal member. Colter was born in York County, New Brunswick , the son of Samuel Colter, an immigrant from Ireland , and was educated at the Sackville Academy and the University of New Brunswick . In 1869, he married Annie Folinsbee. Colter taught school in Cayuga, Ontario Cayuga and Dunnville, Ontario Dunnville for several years. In 1879, he was called to the Ontario bar. He was elected to the House of Commons in 1886 in a by election held following the death of David Thompson Canadian politician David Thompson but was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1887 and in an 1887 by election held after the first election was successfully appealed. His election in 1889 was declared void and he lost the by election which followed in 1890 to Walter Humphries Montague . Colter was unsuccessful when he ran for reelection in 1891 and again in 1921 in Elgin East .
