The DocBook XSL stylesheets are a set of XSLT stylesheets for the XML based DocBook language. Purpose DocBook is a semantic markup language. That is, it specifies the meaning of the elements in a document, not how they are intended to be presented to the end user. It provides separation of presentation and content separation between the content of the document and the visual representation . In computer science , time formatting and storage bugs are a class of software bug s which may cause system time time and date calculation or display to be improperly handled. These are most commonly manifestations of arithmetic overflow , but can also be the result of other issues. The most well known consequence of bugs of this type is the Y2K problem , but many other milestone dates or times exist that have caused or will cause problems depending on various programming deficiencies. The first problem was related to GPS devices GPS dates are expressed as a week number and a day of week number, with the week number transmitted as a ten bit value. Visual Objects is an Object oriented programming object oriented computer programming language that is used to create software program s that operate primarily under Microsoft Windows Windows . Although it can be used as a general purpose programming tool, it is almost exclusively used to create database programs. The original Visual Objects project code named Aspen was started as part of Nantucket Corporation Nantucket s attempts to bring the Clipper programming language Clipper language to Windows, and move from the Procedural programming procedural to the Object oriented programming object oriented style. It also converted Clipper from a p code machine p code system to being a true native compiler and introduced more elements of the C programming language C language such as typed Variable programming variables , while including Windows extensions such as Component Object Model COM , ODBC , and later ActiveX Data Objects ADO . With its symbol datatype, it offers the ability form name based linkages, which may be used to connect Menu computing menu events to Method computer science object methods or form direct linkages between server columns and controls. The Windows version was finally brought to market by Computer Associates . An objects clause is a provision in a company s constitution stating the purpose and range of activities for which the company is carried on. In UK company law up until reforms in the Companies Act 1989 and the Companies Act 2006 , an objects clause circumscribed the Capacity law capacity , or power, of a company to act. The legal position was that any contract entered into beyond the power, or ultra vires , would be deemed void ab initio . The legal problems concerning objects clauses are now largely historical artifacts. New companies no longer have to register objects under the Companies Act 2006 section 30, and that even if they do the ultra vires doctrine has been abolished against third parties under section 39. It is only relevant in an action against a director for breach of duty under section 171 for failure to observe the limits of their constitutional power.
