1921 or Ayirathi Thollayirathi Irupathi Onnu is a 1988 Malayalam film directed by I. V. Sasi^[1], written by T. Damodaran, and starring Mammootty, Madhu, Parvathy, Seema, and Urvasi.^[2] The film won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value of that year.^[3]

Plot

The movie deals with the Malabar rebellion, more popularily known as the Mappila Lahala. Mammootty plays the role of Kadhir, a leader of the rioters.
