Chess events in brief 17 January 1940 - Dawid Przepi rka , Stanis aw Kohn , Moishe Lowtzky , Achilles Frydman , Abkin, M ynek, Zahorski and many others were arrested at the Kwieci ski Chess Caf in Warsaw, and imprisoned at Dani owiczowska Str. (they had played a prison tournament won by Lowtzky there).
