The AAMI Vase is a Moonee Valley Racing Club Group 2 Australian Thoroughbred horse race held under set weight conditions, for horses aged three years old, over a distance of 2040 metres.[1] It is held at Moonee Valley Racecourse in Melbourne on WS Cox Plate Day. Prize money is A$200,000 and $15,000 trophy. Race History Distance - 1983 - 1985 held over 1600 metres
