AF INET

In computer networking, programmers using Berkeley sockets use AF_INET to represent the address family. INET stands for Internet sockets, using the IPv4 protocol as opposed to AF_INET6 for IPv6 sockets, PF_UNIX for Unix domain sockets and more.
