AID Delhi is a chapter of Association for India's Development, a not for profit organization which aims at promoting sustainable, equitable and just development in India. The organization supports grassroots organizations in India, as well as initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as agriculture, energy, education, health , livelihoods, natural resources including land and water, women empowerment [1] and social justice. AID Delhi chapter[2] was founded by a group of volunteers in 2004. AID Delhi collaborates with like minded organizations, corporates and other civil society organizations in the national capital region (NCR) to create a self sustainable model of development. It has several volunteering opportunities.[3] It uses street plays to spread awareness about various social issues[4] Currently AID Delhi [5] is actively involved with I AM NO LAB RAT CAMPAIGN. It is aimed at spreading awareness among people against the harmful effects of Genetically Modified Food.[6] Recently a brinjal festival [7][8] was organized as part of the campaign.
