AVS Video Editor

AVS Video Editor is a shareware video editing software tool produced by Online Media Technologies Ltd., the direct vendor of multimedia video and audio solutions, UK. The program is intended for those who are new to video editing,^[1] it is also a real-time, timeline-based video editing software application. In December 2007 Online Media Technologies launched a new version of the editor as part of their next generation AVS4YOU range of products.^[2] Support for the earlier generation ceased soon afterwards.^[3]

Criticism

In the past some reviewers had difficulties locating help files.^[1] Since then online help that is kept up-to-date can be accessed from the program interface or it's also possible to download help files in PDF format.
