"Against" is Sepultura's eleventh official single, and the second of three to be taken from the album Against, released in 1998. At 1 minute and 54 seconds, it is Sepultura's shortest single. The song is mostly composed under the measure of 3/4 in almost all the song, except on the chorus, which second verse is in 4/4.

No video was created for the song. The cover artwork simply shows the band's logo on a red and black background. It is the same image used for the next single, "Tribus". The single was released on CD only.
