Agios Stefanos () is a railway station in Agios Stefanos, north of Athens, Greece, at km 33.5 of the Piraeus Platy railway. The station was opened on March 8, 1904. It has two platforms. In the early years, the station was known under the name Bogiati ( ) or Vogiati ( ), which derived from a common name of the settlement of Agios Stefanos. It was renamed to Oion ( ) and changed again to its current name in the 1980s. An extension of ISAP line 1 of Attiko Metro from Kifisia station to Agios Stefanos station has been proposed.[1] In popular culture The station (then known as Oion) was filmed as the fictional Thymaria station in the 1954 film Oute gata oute zimia.
