Airgo Networks

Airgo Networks (formerly Woodside Networks), is a Palo Alto, California-based company specializing in the development of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless technology. Founded in 2001, Airgo is a lead proponent of the 802.11n standard.

Greg Raleigh, president and CEO, was also a founder, president, and CEO of Clarity Wireless, now owned by Cisco Systems. Raleigh has authored multiple patents and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

On December 4, 2006, Qualcomm announced that it would acquire Airgo Networks for an undisclosed amount.[1] Airgo is now owned by Qualcomm, although still located in Palo Alto, while Qualcomm's headquarters is in San Diego.
