An aortopulmonary septal defect is a heart disorder deriving from disorders of the development of the aorticopulmonary septum.

There are numerous types.^[1] Types include:

• persistent truncus arteriosus^[2]
• double outlet right ventricle
• transposition of the great vessels
• tetralogy of Fallot
