Argus Media Ltd (formerly known as Petroleum Argus Ltd) is a leading independent provider of price information, market data and business intelligence for the global petroleum, natural gas, electricity, emissions, biofuels, biomass, LPG and coal industries.

Argus Media Ltd is a privately held UK-registered company, owned by the family of its founder and its senior staff. Established in 1970, Argus has more than 350 employees worldwide.

In 2011 Argus bought FMB, a price reporting agency for international fertilizer markets. FMB covers nitrogen, sulphur, potash, ammonia, phosphates and urea and also runs key networking events.

Argus also has business intelligence services which provide fundamentals data, news analysis and informed opinion on aspects of energy markets.
