If you have one without the frame, you'll need to use quite a lot of heat like a 'paint stripping hot air gun' to soften the glue that holds the digitizer in place and then glue the new one back in. You can stop glass from going everywhere if you put sticky tape on both sides of the screen. If you find the HOME/MENU BUTTON doesn't work after repair: Hold the power button down for about 10 seconds or until you feel 3 buzzes, this does a hard reset. If a hard reset doesn't work, re-installing the firmware will fix this problem as you can read in the comments below. This problem doesn't seem to happen with the new Symbian update. _________________________________________________________ To replace a damaged LCD (AMOLED) or Digitizer you'll need: T5 or T4(both used in production) star type screwdriver. (search for torx on Maplin or Amazon) Plastic knife (or guitar pick) and some tweezers to grab the screws. Parts are very easy to find online. DIY repairs will void any warranty .
