Maya 2011 Basic nCloth Dynamic Constraint Tutorial by Stuart Christensen
Duration: 31:58
Description: This tutorial by Stuart Christensen will help you place clothing on a character using Maya's nCloth system. By using Dynamic Constraints, you can make clothing stick to exact points on a model by using a simple locator and transform constraint. Once constrained, it's just a matter of adjusting the nCloth properties for controlling the flow and feel of a fabric. This basic tutorial will help you understand how nCloth works and the limitless possibilities it provides for creating not just fabric, but a whole range of other mesh type creations!

Maya 2011 Shrapnel nParticle and nCloth Tearable Constraint Tutorial by Stuart Christensen
Duration: 37:36
Description: Debris and shrapnel effects can be created with nCloth and nParticles by using a Tearable Constraint. The effect can also be adapted for a multitude of other simulations and effects. So, it's time to bust out the nParticles and learn how to control some of the dynamic properties involved with the nCloth/Particle Tearable Surface option in this tutorial by Stuart Christensen. Imagination is key to using this effect! So, put on your thinking hats and learn this concept!

Autodesk Inventor Training Tutorial - Assembly Mate Constraint
Duration: 6:35
Description: This is a sample tutorial lesson from CAD Gorilla's Inventor for Beginners course. The full course is designed to get brand new users up to speed quickly using Autodesk Inventor. Within about 2 hours you learn how to navigate the interface, create sketches, work with constraints, set up parametric relationships, model several 3D part models, as well as create fully functioning 3D assemblies. Once all of the models are created we step you through how to document your parts and drawings with production-ready 2D drawings. iClone 5.1 Tutorial - Intro to Physics Constraint
Duration: 3:43
Description: www.reallusion.com With v5.1, you can access to the full set of advanced physics constraint settings to simulate real-life mechanical structures with realistic physics behaviors. The enhanced multiple constraint capabilities also open up the possibilities for interactive prop controls which can greatly simplify your animation design process and provide a great natural result.
Description: www.reallusion.com This tutorial will make users aware of avatar joint constraints and how best to correct them when they are exceeded. These limits can be observed by a "twist" in the mesh, or a "break" in the CloneCloth mesh layer.

Constraints and Drivers tutorial: Blender Stapler
Duration: 33:54
Description: Links from the tutorial! Follow me! www.facebook.com theduckcow.deviantart.com Link to scene on Deviantart, free to download: theduckcow.deviantart.com Blendswap link: www.blendswap.com Coin tutorial: [not yet released] In this blender tutorial, you will see a demo of how useful constraints and drivers on objects can be for animation, specially in the use of a fully "rigged" stapler. You can follow along in learning how to add constraints and limits to rotation of the different parts of a stapler, as well as how to use drivers to dynamically change the compression of a spring as a part of the system. Like I said, the blender scene initially shown is on blendswap for FREE, with high quality textures and models most cg-artists would expect to pay for. Moo-Ack! ~Patrick W. Crawford
Description: This is a method for locking a limb, (Hand or Foot to another object (other character, vehicle) While still having the ability for subtle, layered animation. Maya Tutorial on how to lock an IK controller to another object and still have the ability to animate it while it goes along for the ride. Group a Locator, Constrain the Group to the Object you want to follow, and Constrain the IK Control to the Locator. Then you line up and animate the locator. Can Animated the Constraint Blend on and off, for it to follow or not follow. On the shape node can swap between multiple constraints. Went fast in this tutorial (because it's on video(can re-watch)) & already went over slower with the class. (Cropped, Contrast Enhanced, Volume Enhanced, Re-sized, & Compressed)
