There's a whole bunch of SSE arithmetic instructions we're just looking at some basic floating point ones today. This tutorial covers 28 instructions all up they are all different versions of ADD, SUB, MUL, DIV, SQRT, MIN and MAX. For each of these 7 operations you can work with singles or doubles (32 or 64 bit floats) and you can use SIMD (packed) or scalar (only the lowest). For a total of 28 different instructions. Dynamic memory is memory we ask for whilst our program runs. In C++ we call the 'new' operator which is really just a way to ask Windows, the OS, for some more memory. In Assembly it's the same, if we want more memory we ask Windows for it. It's been a while. I'm making Android apps. First one's up, it's a rather non descript little shooting gallery game called "High Noon Shooting Gallery". This game's really just a way for me to test how to upload to Android market.
