Audacity is a very easy piece of software to use. It makes editing music and sound a pleasure. The first thing you learn in this Audacity tutorial is how to open an existing recording. It is as simple as drag and drop the MP3, WAV, etc. onto the Audacity window. When you are ready to remove some sound from a recording you need to select the sound by holding your mouse button and sliding over that sound. Once you have the sound selected, to delete the sound you just hit your delete key on your computer's keyboard. If there is a section of your music you would like to zoom in on you just need to select it with your mouse and click the 'fit selection to window' button in Audacity. If you find a button you are unfamiliar with you just need to hover your mouse over it and its name will appear after a couple of seconds. It is simple to fade out a sound recording in Audacity. First select the portion of your music you want to fade out, go to the EFFECT menu and select FADE OUT. It's that simple! The same process applies to FADE IN. Description: I got Sony Vegas 7 when my Dad bought a HD camera, and I have found it a very useful tool, especially when making videos for youtube. I made this tutorial on how to make a video using the programme as a bit of an experiment. It's a nice change from Source SDK tutorials and this video would actually help my MUM if she wasn't better at using this programme than I was. However, I'm sure there are plenty of other Mums out there who need helping when it comes to putting holiday clips on the internet- as well as thousands of people trying to make the next big computer game movie. This tutorial only shows the basics, I don't like to over complicate tutorials, especially when people are finding a programme intimidating enough to use in the first place. I may make more, depending on how this video is received. RENDER TYPES 256 kbps - renders at 320 x 240, it's also fuzzy and blocky, but will be fine for normal camera footage. Sound is also slightly muffled. But you can make a 10 minutes film about 10 mb in size, so it's useful. 512 kbps - Double the size of 256 kbps, but it's slightly sharper and the sound is much clearer. 3 mbps - 6 times larger than 512 kbps, but the quality is far better. It's actually clearer than television footage, and I would recommend it for computer game recordings and HD footage when you're not really that bothered with the quality. 4.2 / 5 / 6 mbps - 1280 x 720 resolution, also known as 720p, also used with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 games. It's not the ...

Multiclip Editing Tutorial on Final Cut Studio / Ramzo16 BTS
Duration: 8:13
Description: Here's a tutorial in Final Cut Studio about how to do a Multiclip edit. I'm using footage from a Music Video I shot with Ramzo16 an musician from Toronto, Ontario. Ken Domik KBDProductionsTV YouTube - www.youtube.com Twitter - twitter.com FaceBook - www.facebook.com This is a variation on the basics of multiclip setup and editing in FCP. Normally, it's just a simple matter of selecting two or more video clips, syncing them using T/C, audio or video hits common to all the tracks, then creating a multiclip. The trouble with this is that during the editing process every time you change video angles the audio source will change as well because the "audio follows the video". You can choose to change only the video angle and leave the audio unchanged to a track previously selected but this still leaves only one track of audio in your completed multiclip edit. This is not good if you want to have the audio mixed from all your different cameras that you used at your original shoot. This is a huge advantage for wedding and dance recital videographers who need all the audio for the final mix. Here's how to do it: In the FCP sequence I drag the media from all the cameras into their own dedicated video and audio tracks and sync them all using a common audio hit or a camera flash, whatever you have available. Each time one of the cameras changes a tape it's another sync job with the other two cameras in the FCP timeline. Once everything is synced then go back to the beginning of the ...

Minecraft World Edit Tutorial - The Quarry (Land Masses)
Duration: 5:32
Description: World Edit Demo - The Quarry I've nicknamed this structure the quarry but this tutorial will teach you ho to create large and spectacular land masses using World Edit for Minecraft. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Step One: To start we are going to make a arch out of stone spheres. We assign a brush to a tool and right click to create stone spheres which we arrange in a large arch. //br sphere stone 5 Defines a brush that creates stone spheres with a radius of 5 Step Two: Now to make the arch more realistic we smooth it using the smooth brush. I use a small brush size because I have more success with it. You really have to play around and undo a bunch to get a clean looking and natural looking arch. It's tricky but if you focus on the tops of the surfaces you will have better luck. Don't try to smooth out the undersides of the arch. It doesn't work well. //br smooth 2 2 Defines a brush which smooths a 2 by 2 area at a time Step Three: Add more stone spheres with the first brush around the arch to make a border of sorts. I left an entrance of sorts to the center, which is where the lake will be. //br sphere stone 5 Defines a brush that creates stone spheres with a radius of 5 Step Four: Smooth the perimeter you built out. Be picky and don't be afraid to delete sections and re-try them. If grass creeps up the sides of the stone don't worry. That's actually good in moderation. It will add to the ...
