You can only jailbreak your iPhone 4 using a Mac OS X, since this involves PwnageTool in the jailbreak process. Things that you need to have before starting the jailbreak process: iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.1 official ipsw file: goo.gl PwnageTool 4.1.2: goo.gl (MegaUpload) goo.gl (Torrent) Unofficial iOS 4.2.1 PwnageTool bundle: cl.ly Redsn0w 0.9.6b6 for Mac: goo.gl Here's the step-by-step guide on how to do it: Step 1: Download the required files -- Links posted above Step 2: Now right click on the bundle and click "Copy". After that, right click on PwnageTool 4.1.2 and click on "Show Package Contents". Step 3: Navigate to "Contents/Resources/Firmware Bundles" and paste the bundle there. Now close the package.
