Description: This first tutorial will show you the basics on setting up a material based post processing chain in the UDK. There's a second part as well that will show you an example post process as well. A post process chain is a way to add screen effects. As the UDN puts it, "One of the most powerful aspects of the post processing system in Unreal Engine 3 is the ability to use the Material System and all of its flexibility and extensibility to sample, modify, and manipulate the rendered scene through the use of Material Effect nodes within the Post Process Chain." My photography secrets - Post processing Tutorial
Duration: 2:50
Description: This is what I do to post process my photos. I mostly shoot in RAW instead of shooting in JPG. The program that I'm using is Apples Aperture 3 and not Photoshop. Aperture reminds very much of Lightroom or the Photoshop Raw editor. This photo is taken March 2011 in Cairns, Australia. You can see the skyline and the sunset with all the beautiful colors in the sky. The camera that I used in this shot is a Nikon D5000 with a 18-105mm lens together with a neutral density filter (ND filter) from Cokin. And of course a tripod. Fine Art Photography, nature and landscape photos. Please visit my Facebook www.facebook.com/christianlundfineartphotography or my main website www.christianlundfineartphotography.com I hope these videos will teach you and give you inspiration to take photos. This video is a "how to" or do do it yourself video. Thanks for watching /Christian Lund

Description: This is the followup tutorial to Post Process Chain Basics which showed how to set up a simple post process chain and material. This just takes you through an example and hopefully will help you get some ideas for how you can make your own post process materials. This video ended up going pretty long, but hopefully you'll come out of it for the better. The idea is that you will probably never want or need to make a post process like this, but hopefully it will demonstrate some of the things that you can do with post process. EDIT: Sorry, I made a mistake with the callouts M + Click for Multiply D + Click for Divide For postprocess outline see the UDN tutorial here: udn.epicgames.com
Description: I have been helping out some friends creating a deferred sample for them to play with in there project, it has also given me the opportunity to take the code out of the engine and start to get it ready for a blog post. The sun, which is a new post process in the framework was inspired by the guys I have been helping out, and again, I could not have come up with it without there hints and tips :) The first post will be on how the deferred lighting is done, next will be the instancing with the deferred lighting and then the post processing system. And all in XNA 4.0 (once it's released), can't wait to write it up!! As ever I am standing on the shoulders of giants. Hope you like the clip :)
